Batizado

Every year we host a special weekend of workshops, with special guests from around the UK and Europe, teaching Capoeira and other afro-Brazilian artforms. It is called the "Batizado" (pronounced Batchy-zard-oh).

As part of the weekend, there is also a grading, where Capoeira Nottingham students can receive their belts.

This event is for all Capoeira Nottingham members, from children, to young people and adults.

Our 2019 event will take place from the 17th-19th of May.

Bank Holiday closures

There will be no classes on Friday 19th of April (Good Friday), Saturday 20th of April, or Monday 22nd April (Easter Monday), due to Easter Bank Holiday closures.
